I have recently (last 6 months) had a combi bolier fitted with 7 radiators. I have for the past 4-5 months had a small knocking sound coming from both the pipes and the boiler itself. After the engineer came out to look, he bled the pipes and all seemed fine, i should point out he did find a leaky pipe and repaired it. Since this has happened, the banging noise is now very loud and happening on a 10-40 minute interval. When the heating is on, the noise is low. When the heating shuts down for the evening, the bangs start happening more frequently. Does anyone have any suggestion or ideas ??
