We need to purchase a new gas-fired water boiler and a contractor has recommended a Utica Boiler model USC-4.
Can anyone tell me whether the Utica Boilers products are highly rated, in comparison to other
brands such as Weil-McClain, etc. He mentioned Utica as good because here in upstate NY he said it's easy to get it serviced
because the local contractors are familiar with it, and it also comes with a lifetime warranty.
Also, the contractor quoted us $4700, $1500 of which is labor. Does this sound reasonable?
The house is abt. 2200 sf., we need 5 zones installed.
