My oil supplier wants to sell me a Peerless Cast Iron Boiler with burner input of .85 GPH to replace my 25 year
old Weil-McLean 1.0 GPH unit. Is this reasonable? He says the improved effieciency will make up the
difference. Also, I don't see a lot of postings re Peerless. Are they comparable to others on the market? My oil
guy says they have experienced fewer repairs lately on Peerless units. One more question, is $3K a reasonable
price to pay for the unit installed?
