Can any one please tell what the pressure of a hot water system should be when cold?. I am thinking my expansion tank may be saturated. 5 year old burnham boiler. 2 zone, hot water system. When Hot I had an over pressure sitution. Tech cam out and replaced a faulty pressure relief valve and a automatic supply valve. Said the system was getting too much water.
The pressure when the system is cold is at or just above zero? I need to call him back to clean the boiler any way but was just wondering where the pressure should be.
