Myself, I'd stick with what is there, but replace everything but the pump housing that is inline with the piping. You should be able to get a new or rebuilt all ready to just bolt to the pump housing. Drain system, lockout the electric, tie the pump to the ceiling joist, disconnect wiring,pull four bolts and do in reverse with the new. This saves messing with the piping. Make sure you oil according to the schedule.
