Loosening Pipes - Any secrets here for undoing a 3" pipe except brute strength?. Liquid wrench didn't help much.

Anybody ever do a payback on using an indirect water heater vs. just buying a separate one. There is extra cost with the indirect for the heater itself, the control and circulator. What's the payback for say a 40 gal water heater? Is it really worth it?

And lastly - Is it OK to run copper for all the piping around the boiler (existing pipes are steel), and right up to the inlet and discharge of the boiler. I am installing a new boiler, and running copper would be a lot easier than black pipe.
