I have a Weil McClain GV-4 boiler that has been in service for 10 years. In the past two years, it has been
developinig condensate in the blower housing which then prevents the draft pressure switch from detecting
airflow (pressure differential) I installed a condensate trap in the sensor lines, which has addressed the
symptom, but I would like to cure the problem. What might be causing the condensate ? The intake
and exhaust pipes are clear.

Also, is there a recommended treatment for the boiler water ? It has never been replaced, just topped off
periodically.

Thanks

Wayne
