I have a 580,000 BTU MGB-5 boiler (It seems like a pretty big and expensive boiler is it?) and the bottom 1" pipe on the boiler feed pump-controller loop is corroding just outside the bolier section threaded tap. I would like to replace the pipe, but I am worried that I'll break it off at the tap. What's the best way to get out this rusted pipe and leave a clean set of threads on the boiler? Thanks
