I assume you went to the IAQ sites. I still bet your boiler has nothing to do with it if you have a WORKING CO detector in it's space. Not that CO is the only thing a gas boiler can give off. You've had numerous boiler people and chimney sweeps in there and you still have gaps between your boiler sections?? Go the IAQ route such as http://www.heimer.com/environment/uffi.html and check for urea-formaldehyde insulation, humidty levels for mold etc.
