Tingling, light-headedness, and insensitivity in extremities are symptoms of carbon monoxide poisoning. You will not get a gas analysis over the internet, but you can purchase a carbon monoxide sensor. A boiler with many gaps can send products of combustion into the room while air enters the boiler in other gaps to provide a good draft that will test well for chimney draft. The new boiler is a good investment in fuel savings and will eliminate the gap problem.
