Coliver,
Are you looking to buy this boiler, or sell it. I'm not sure there is a big market for used boilers, however the best way I can think of to gauge the value of such a boiler is to compare it to a new one. A new 75,000 BTU oil-fired cast iron boiler is likely to cost on the range of $1,700-$2,500 plus installation. The average lifespan is usually 30 years with room for exceptions of both extreems. I would be cautious buying a used boiler, as it may be in poor condition due to lack of maintenance, or improper installation. I would probably offer no more than $500 for this, as the seller isn't likely to be experiencing a stampede of potential buyers for this item!

Good Luck!
-Nate

: I really need some help. I need to know what a 10-12 year old boiler is worth. 78,000 BTU Residential Hot Water. Cast Iron Burner.

: Anyone who has comments or can help. Please do.

: Thanks in advance,

: coliver
