I am impressed that Tarm can reduce emissions. They have a quality product. They solve a problem of using two chimneys.

However, there is never a statement of the efficiency of the gas portion or oil portion alone in their multi-fire units. Most folks get tired or injure themselves with the chain saw within three years, then the unit becomes a one-fuel unit. A heat output of 180,000 btuh heats a 7000 square foot home built to today's standards; they claim it will do a 4000 square-foot home. I don't know if this is a roundabout way of stating efficiency.
