Don't ask how I found this.
I haven't worked as a plumber for quite a while but generally when you open a valve and nothing comes out, there usually is a block.
On most boilers, there is usually a drain valve near the bottom of the tank. Sometimrs the drain valve is a bit higher than the bottom.

: To properly drain sediment from my boiler should I open the valve under the sight glass?
: If no water comes out is something clogged?
