I am planning to replace a taco 007 circulator cartridge
and have a couple of questions.

I was told I had to drain water from the system
to below the level of the circulator, but to first
reduce the pressure in the system.

1. Will shutting off the water supply reduce the pressure
or must I do some thing else.

2. After I replace the cartridge and start to refill
the system, how do I remove the air from the system ?

The heating system has 3 zones each with its own
circulator, shutoff, and drain.

Thanks.
