Observe the operation of the boiler. Set the thermostat up so the boiler doesn't stop demand for heat. See what pressure the boiler rises to and mark it down. See what pressure the boiler drops to before it restarts and mark it down. Subtract the lower pressure from the higher - that is the differential to be set by a smaller screw in the pressure control. Set the differential to about 1-1/4. Observe the operation to see if the differential is operating right. If so, set the high pressure limit to 2 psig. Observe. Adjust minutely as necessary.
