I am looking to replace my old boiler with a new oil boiler. Presently I have a system that is 65 years old and is an old coal furnace converted into a oil fired boiler. My house is a two storey 1500 square foot home and I need a reccommended size of replacement boiler. I am also considering adding one or two hot water radiators so I can heat my basement and replace the electric baseboards.
I am looking at a Burnham LE series boiler. Can anyone suggest a size and what type of efficiency I should get or suggest another model?
