you have other problems than just a hartford loop.(a safety feature only). there is really no house in america that a max of 2 psi cant heat. your pressuretrol should be set to cut in at 1/2 psi and could probably cut out at 1 1/2 psi. try that and see if things work better. im told the EMPIRE STATE BLDG. is heated with 5 psi steam. turn it down.
