You might have missed my reply. kewaneeboiler.com has an email form you could submit for info. The manufacturers date is usually stamped on the blr so codes can be checked etc. Kewanee lists a TYPE R, I don't see your Series, but am having trouble with PDFs. There is also some text on comparative efficiencies etc. Yours is about 20HP in the listings. I will bet that any savings you might get is not in replacing with a like blr. If you are talking steam, you need to do a radiation survey, if hot water you need to look at the load through the year. Your monthly fuel bills might help if you're gas.
