I have a boiler in my home which has been there since the structure was build in the 1930's. I've been responsible for it's operation and maintence for the past 10 years, and maybe I'm a bit crazy, but I can't imagine heating my home any other way. I absolutely love my hand fired steam boiler.
My questions are these...
Is there any company in America, or even the world for that matter which still produces manual feed coal fired residential boilers?
Does anyone else have or know about a Weil-McLain 4-S-22 coal fired manual feed boiler still in operation or a unused unit which is still complete?
What can I do as far as maintence to keep my boiler bubbling along for another 60 years?
