I'd bet you have a control or flow problem. Probably flow as the heat is there ready to go. Your boiler is not that much undersized. If you did the heat loss right there is certainly some conservative numbers there, as there is with the blr. The boiler would be working non-stop with no reserve. You need to ascertain what is shutting off the boiler at 5min. Probably temp. Being new, I would try to check flow first. Does water come back hot, and soon after cold start? Check each loop, you might have a stuck zone valve etc. Make sure air is bled out of every section that went upwards and then back down. You might have hose bibs for blowing it out. Make sure all valves are open. Do solder joints look good, or look like they're done by someone who could fill the pipe with solder?
