I have owned a Vaillant 5 section oil fired boiler for 6 years now. I have worked on many other brands and I feel that the Vaillant line of boilers is far better than most others in the U.S. market. Every time I have an efficiency test done on ,it is around 87%. I live in Northern New York near Lake Placid and it gets cold for a long time, sometimes 10 to 20 below for a week or two at a time. I hope that someday Vaillant makes another attemt to enter the U.S. market. Maybe next time more people will see how good this product is.
