Cast iron boilers are like lawnmowers, the brand is immaterial they're like radiators in a sheet metal jacket. Gas burners are proprietary, but those usually last forever in a dry bsmt. It is the blr trim and control brands that matter. Many have manuals on their websites that you can download as PDFs, including weil-mclain.com. Just hook a pc of wire into your pump motor bracket that will reach up to something to hold it if needed. The usual spyder type couplings are just on with set screws. 4 cap screws hold the ass'y together. Separate it and you can use an allen wrench to pull the coupling. Make sure the juice is off. Looking in while it is off and you can see if the springs have eaten through the arms yet. Lovejoy type couplings have a rubber block that sits between metal fingers.
