You need to blow down any float type low water cutoff/ feeders as seabee said, but as this is new, you might have the low water cutoff (LWC) set too low. Most boilers like to be set up so the water line is about at mid-glass. That buys more time to catch problems. Your new feeder should come on and the feeder fill enough water by the time the lwc switch kills it. If you have a probe type, there can be a timer that adds water and then the same probe kills the blr if water hasn't gotten to it when the time is up. A float type drops to a kill switch (if enough water doesn't get there) after engaging the fill switch. Ask the installer for the literature that came with your new controls. Someone has to read them.
