My 130 year old house has a 1976 series 310 Slant Fin boiler for our steam heat source. It is rated at 264000 BTU normal output. We burn natural gas and our monthly bills have skyrocketed.
I am considering replacing this old boiler with a new Lennox model that boasts 85% efficiency. What kind of energy savings (approximately) will I see?
