Hi: I am the proud owner of a 1909 Craftsman style saltbox house that is heated by 11 hot water radiators. The boiler is original, started as a coal burner, then converted to oil and is now on natural gas. We are in Seattle, WA and our winter gas bills average around 150.00-175.00 per month. On top of this, it does not do a very good job of heating. If the outside temp goes below 38 degrees, then we know that we will be using electric heaters or a stove to help out.

Obviously we need to replace the boiler for a more effecient one, but we are in the dark about what kind to get. We would kind of like one that incorperates a hot water heater also as our basement space is limited.

Help???

Thanks

Bob L.
