: Hi, if any one can help. I have any oil burner with two zones: One for the basement and one for the first floor. I just extended the basement water baseboards to provide more heat in the basement apartment. I turn on the water supply, the zone and bleed the air out of the system. After the thermostat is activitated the circulator water but it is cool not hot. I noticed that the boiler doesn't fire when the thermostat activitates, I don't if that is right?
: Any Ideas?
If the boiler is hot...and the pump is circulating water...and the piping is correctly installed. The radiator will get hot. Air is the first thought, any air traps in the piping????
More information is needed: i.e. series, parallel or reverse return piping. radiators upstairs working? Pressure, Temperature? Good luck, Tim
