The technician replaced the relief valve but it still leaked. He then drained the expansion tank and changed the pressure regulator and it still leaked. He then shut off the water supply and return valves for the Amtrol Boiler Mate and this stopped the leaking at the relief valve. After several days he turned on the water supply and return valves to the Boiler Mate and the leaking started again at the relief valve. The technician's opinion is that the Boiler Mate has a "pin hole" leak inside causing the problem. Does this sound right?
The heat exchanger has the leak. Check your warranty with Amtrol.
