To whom it may concern,
I have a healthclub client with a problem with a SteamMaster boiler. 2 boilers are used for steam room in men's and women's looker rooms, 1 for each steam room. 3/4 in copper supply line. Water chemistry is ph 7.0 hardness is 3-4 gpg with matching TDS of 70. Slight chlorine approx. 1.0-1.5. Municipal water. Problem is excess build-up of minerals even though blowdown occurs twice daily. Blowdown water tests out at ph 6.5. at drain. Am looking to see if water softening could help solve buid-up problem. Problem occuring at unit, not necessarily in steam room. There is no chemical feed. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Craig S. Chisesi Fontus Enterprises LLC
