Help with gas leak from gasket on Reynolds gas regulator

I have a Fitzgibbons steam boiler, gas fired, in my house - it says 1936 on the front of the cast iron.
It has a Reynolds (Anderson, Ind.) gas regulator attached, which has a small gas leak at one part of the gasket.
Do you have any suggestions what I can use to fix this minor gas leak from the regulator gasket?? I put a couple of extra bolts in the flange. It helped some, but there is still a bit of a gas odor when I put my (sensitive) nose right to one part of the gasket.
I finally had a plumber out, but he was no help either.

I haven't been able to find replacement parts for either the boiler or the gas regulator. I have no idea when these companies went out of business.
Do you have any suggestions where to get parts or a replacement?

I would very much appreciate your help.
Many thanks,
Paul
