: Dear Sir/Madam
: My name is Yiannis kalafatis and I have studied Environmental Energy Engineering in Leeds University of England. At this time Iím obtaining relevant experience in National Technical University of Athens (NTUA). Since Iím concerned that your company has a great experience involving such techniques, Iím wondering if you could send me via e-mail any technical information that might help me such as how I can:
: ∑ Determine the dimensions of the furnace and lengths of the tube pass required for the specified duty.
: ∑ Estimate the pressure losses through the boiler and the rate of steam release within the boiler.
: ∑ Undertake an engineering design of the boiler shell and internals.
: ∑ Recommend a suitable burner for the boiler
: ∑ Design a suitable chimney for the boiler assuming that the boiler is to be used in an urban area.
: The data I have are:
: The boiler required providing 5000kg/h of steam at a pressure of 15bar. The boiler feed water temperature is 85 C . A two tubular pass design is proposed using tubes with an internal diameter of 57mm. The gross efficiency of the boiler is to be 85% using natural gas as the fuel.
: Ií would be grateful for sending me any relevant information because this would be a great help for me. Thanks in advance
: Yiannis Kalafatis
