First, what type of emissions are we talking about? If its PM then yes, too much air could be entraining ash. If its CO or VOCs then you may not have enough air or adding air at the wrong location. There are end of stack controls such as baghouses, ESPs and wet scrubbers that would reduce PM and other pollutants. I would recommend talking with a qualified APC equipment supplier for these technologies. : is the operator using too much air or can we build something ourselves to reduce emissions
