: ∑ Design a suitable chimney for the boiler assuming that the boiler is to be used in an urban area.
: The data I have are:
: The boiler required providing 5000kg/h of steam at a pressure of 15bar. The boiler feed water temperature is 85 C . A two tubular pass design is proposed using tubes with an internal diameter of 57mm. The gross efficiency of the boiler is to be 85% using natural gas as the fuel.
