: Does anyone has data regarding stack temp on oil/gas, fired firetube/watertube, steam/water boiler that I can look up?
: Thanks in advance.
Stack temp exiting the boiler but prior to the economizer should be around 75 to 100 deg F over the saturated steam temp for a firetube and around 150 deg F for a watertube. The temperature exiting the economizer for either boiler should be around 300 deg F for an 83% gas/87% #2 oil efficiency, assuming 228 deg F water from the DA and a boiler operating pressure around 125 psig to 200 psig sat.
