I've heard of this being done, but I believe it's being blended in with conventional #2 at levels of up to 30% (soy-diesel). Heating value is 16900btu/lb. I can't think why you'd want to blend in yellow grease, as it would just throw more variability into the fuel and also require more filtering, etc. (enless you're being driven by price).
I'm wondering if what you're really after is biodiesel. THAT can go in as a literal drop in for #2 oil. It'll give lower to nearly insignificant emissions on nearly everything except NOx may go up a hair.
