FUNCTIONAL EXPERIENCE
SALES: fifteen years project sales / management experience. Respond to sales leads from service technicians, construction group and customer requests. Responsible for site analysis, survey, review of
plans / specifications and preparation of estimates and quotations for design build as well as plan and spec projects. Also responsible for management of all projects sold.
PROJECT MANAGEMENT: responsible for mobilization of job site, technical support and
supervision of trades. Coordinate material, labor, equipment and sub-contracted resources for the installation (new and retrofit) and maintenance of commercial / industrial HVAC and process piping systems. Provide technical assistance and field supervision for licensed trades and sub-contractors. Liaison between management, architects, engineers, owners and on site labor. Schedule plant and
system shut-downs. Participate in major equipment and material selection and purchases.
SUPERVISORY: interview, hire and train skilled labor. Daily scheduling and supervision of up to thirty welders, steamfitters, plumbers, technicians and laborers. Evaluate and terminate as necessary. Budget and purchase major equipment and tools required to support shop and field personnel.
TECHNICAL: experienced in the installation, maintenance and start-up of commercial / industrial gas, oil and combination, fired equipment. Licensed HVAC technician / steamfitter capable of supervising and coordinating efforts of all trades. Provide technical assistance in the design, application, selection and installation of HVAC systems, process equipment and service water heating.
Extensive knowledge of high / low pressure steam, hydronic, chilled water, gas and air piping systems as well as condensate return, boiler feed, oil pump / heater sets, flow measurement and flue gas monitoring equipment utilized in a modern power plant. Perform shop assembly, installation, testing, field capacity and acceptance tests of all power plant equipment and accessories. Design, installation and start up of burner management and flame safeguard systems.
