We just got rid of the last bailey meters when we put a new boiler in, we now have 7 Chessel, Recorder #392, some have four pens and some have 2 pens, I guess you can get whatever. Don't know much about the operation, I believe we do itwith orifice plates, we have had good luck with these. : We have a couple of 38 year old Bailey Meters that are getting due for replacement.(We have two Cleaver Brooks boilers) We're looking for something that will give us our steam flow rate without "breaking the bank". The old meters were the three pen units but all we need is to know the current flow rate. The current system uses the differential system with the orfice plate in the main steam line from the boiler. Thanks for any help and ideas on this!
