How much work can a Fourth Class do with boiler controls? Our operating limit shutdown the boiler but did not want to reset. The operator relieving me took the cover off and poked a screwdriver around in there and shook the mercury swith. It worked and the small watertube boiler fired again. Are we also qualified to repair Presure Reducing Valves, gas train components and water softener assemblies.?
