: : : Has anyone had any dealings with MIURA Boiler? I am looking at the EX series 300 hp steam boiler to replace our older Scotch marine units. This is a relatively new product out there. Not much Info available. My Boiler inspector has never seen one. or heard anything as of yet. Any Info good or bad would be appreciated
: : Gary, I do not have one but have talked to folks that do as I am also looking at new equipment. On the plus side is the high efficency. The negatives for me are, very noisy,hi/low/off not full modulation, water treatment is critical since they hold very small amounts of water. I also have been told that they are difficuly to troubleshoot and that Miura only wants their folks working on them. Keep in mind that this is heresay ,but I have heard it from multiple sources. Look at Aerco. Ken
