:What is the M alkalinity value of your makeup water? Also verify that the "automatic" blowdown controller is in fact opening your valve.

We have two bryan water tube steam boilers that operate at 25psi. we cannot seem to maintain the conductivity to less that 2500 and the alkalinity readings are also high the auto blowdown is set to go off 6 times a day for 1 minute. We are doing frequent shorter bottom blowdowns and the chemical feed is turned off but readings are creeping higher and higher.
: what can we do?
