: We have 2 hot water boilers that are supposed to be running under 30 psi. They are constantly going above that to 34 psi causing the relief valve on boiler 1 to spill over(no matter which one is lead), about 1 gallon every 2 minutes when running. I don't know how to check the expansion tank, its just a big tank with no gauges or anything. It does have a relief valve that when I open it the boiler pressure goes right down. What can I do ?

It seems from what you describe that the expansion tank for boiler 1 has become completely filled with water and now there is no room for expansion, so it goes out the relief valve. Get out your O&M manual for that system and follow the procedure for initial setup of the system.
