In my previous post, I disregarded large "utility type" gas turbines, where it has been found that preheating natural gas fuel from ambient (around 70 Deg F) to around 160 Deg F, or even higher, using waste heat can increase cycle efficiency by up to 0.4%. This can add up to quite a few bucks a day in the 100+ MW range.
