Don't most larger boilers use the flame controler, suplimented by a pressure sensor, to control the modulator motor? We are using a mechanical proportional controler here, and from other boilers I used to work on, I could have sworn there was only 3 mechanical pressure controls (low pressure, operational range, and high pressure without the extra proportional controller) and the modulator was controled by the flame controller. Maybe I just haven't been paying attention that closely. Could someone help me clear this up. Thank you for any assistance.
