Could be the vent valve is not open far enough. A properly vented DA should have a 3 to 5 foot plume from the vent pipe. Many DA vent valves have a 3/8" hole drilled in, and in order to avoid visibility problems the valve ends up being shut, and the 3/8" hole relied on for venting, causing condensation in the vent pipe. Determine the proper valve opening by testing for dissolved oxygen, then leave it in that position.

: what are the causes for water ejecting from the deaerator dome vent along with steam vapor.
