We recently had two 100hp electric boilers installed at our facility. We run low pressure system (10psi)in one common loop. The issue I'm having is when boliers are called for in the automation sequence they ramp up to full max (1200amps) run for about 3 minutes and shut off on low water. They have been recently boiled out to eliminate greases,oils etc. Should these boilers ramp up so quickly? I have a ph of 8.5 and a conductivity of around 200.
