: first of all i know little to nothing about boilers...
: we have a columbia boiler for our brewery. we are having problems keeping a boil going.
: theres a pressuretrol limit switch with the main set at 32psi and a differential of 7psi. the upper limit seems to work as the boiler stops heating at 32. the problem is it never seems to re-fire when the boiler hits 25psi. it drops all the way down to 10 psi before even trying to re-fire. this is ruining our boil after it hits around 17 psil. we have to turn the boiler on and off around 20 psi to keep it where we need it.(can't be good for it)
: any ideas where to start?

What is pressure range for your Pressuretrol?
I believe with working Pressure about 32 Psig, it should be 5 - 50 PSI. And Differential will be accordingly 4 - 12 PSI.
Try to adjust the differential to a minimum. Good luck.
