: We are hiring a new operator and and adding a chip plant so we have a chance to redo the work schedule to fit. We have 6 men to cover 3 shifts 24/7 and I was wondering if anyone had the same man power and the same coverage as we have? We are looking into every possible alternative, 10 hour days are possible, 12 hours days, and of course 8, let me know if this sounds framiliar to anyone, thanks.

I work at a local hospital as plant operator. Our schedule is we work 10 days on 4 days off. Each shift has two guys with each one on a single shift will work alternate weekends. This gives you coverage on each shift two guys except for a single guy on every Friday thru Monday. We also have two daytime plumbers that work Monday thru Friday. Giving us here at least three guys on day shift Monday thru Friday. All our shifts are * hours with O/T as needed.
