We feed a glycol heat exchanger (sarco plate type) with 70#s of steam to maintain 70 degrees C with a temperature controlling regulator. It has a 1" spirax TD 52 trap and is piped directly into a heat recovery unit that preheats our DA makeup water and holds about 10#s. This condensate line hammers severly. I've changed out the disc and cap on the trap, as it was replaced 6 months ago. There is nothing else that traps into it the line.
Any suggestions would be gratfully welcome.
