How sure are you that the system is regenerating at the right frequency? The frequency of regens depends on the size of the bed and the system "through-put". If the zeolite is exhausted, there's no more softening and you'll get your mineral build-up. Then again, are you sure the build-up is minerals (Ca & Mg, etc.)?
