It is 250 lb.steam, it was on a shut off valve, a vent to the roof. I have heard about a gasket blowing out but never seen it. I am new to this problem and was wondering if you should go that close? Without a doubt there was a leaking gasket. We changed it, no big deal but why get close?: What was the pressure , and how would you have found and repaired the leak
