: I'm taking the test in a month does anyone have any helpful material?

I realize that this is a little late to help Jason, but it may help others.

Ohio publishes a "body of knowledge" for boiler operators at http://www.com.state.oh.us/dic/Documents/HighPressureEngineersLicenseExam10506.pdf
They recommend a couple of reference books that you can study from.

I also recommend "Boiler Operator's Workbook", available from American Technical Publishers at www.go2atp.com. The author, R. Dean Wilson, operates a training company, Steamworks LLC, that trains operators in Ohio to help them pass the tests.
